The Role

Are you a practical and skilled engineer looking for a varied and rewarding role? Do you enjoy working with your hands and solving technical problems? Join our team at Driffield Mobility Ltd where your expertise will help enhance lives and enable adventure.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Install access and driving adaptations to private and Motability customers.

  • Assist with bespoke campervan conversions, including electrical, mechanical, and basic carpentry work.

  • Install commercial vehicle conversions.

  • Interact with customers, demonstrating adaptations and providing advice.

  • Diagnose faults and carry out e ective repairs.

  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety regulations

  • Attend on-site appointments or call-outs

  • Service, repair, and maintain mobility aids such as scooters and powered chairs.

  • Represent the values and vision of both Dri ield Mobility and Limitless Campers

        About You

        • Previous experience in a workshop, mechanical, coachbuilding or electrical role

        • Knowledge of modern vehicle workings, vehicle electrics, 12v systems, general conversion work.

        • Previous experience fault finding and fault resolution.

        • Fabrication skills, utilising lathe, mill and welding.

        • Practical, hands-on approach with problem-solving ability and a can-do attitude.

        • High attention to detail and pride in your work.

        • Reliable, proactive, and capable of working independently or as part of a small team.

        • Computer literate

        • Full UK driving licence is essential.

          Pay

          £30,000 per year plus

          Additional pay: Bonus scheme
