What is the Armed Forces Covenant?

The Armed Forces Covenant represents a promise by the nation to the service personnel and their families.

We’re proud to announce that The Association of Vehicle Installers (AVI) has officially signed the Armed Forces Covenant, reaffirming our commitment to supporting the UK’s Armed Forces community — including serving personnel, reservists, veterans, and their families.

AVI works across the vehicle installation, conversion and specialist engineering sector — including organisations and individuals who support defence, emergency services and other mission-critical fleets. Signing the Covenant strengthens our relationship with the Armed Forces community and demonstrates our long-term commitment to those who serve our country — both during service and as they transition into civilian careers.

By signing the Covenant, we pledge to uphold fairness, respect, and opportunity for those connected to the Armed Forces.
