Fleet Operators Recognition Scheme
The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is a voluntary accreditation scheme for fleet operators which aims to raise the level of quality within fleet operations, and to demonstrate which operators are achieving exemplary levels of best practice in safety, efficiency, and environmental protection.
Working with FORS
The AVI have been working with the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) to produce the latest vehicle equipment guide. The guide is designed to help you meet the vehicle safety equipment requirements of the FORS Standard. It provides guidance on each requirement including the equipment that can be used, advice on the specification that this equipment should meet and who can provide this equipment.

The Association of Vehicle Installers are FORS Champions
Our members have the option of completing our IMI Accredited "AVI Safety Systems Certificate", which includes FORS and DVS legislation requirements for compliance. We have worked recently with the updates with FORS and Transport for London to update the document.

The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) has awarded us Supporter Status as recognition for our work on improving the technical installation standards.
