Full job description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Automotive Electrician at CVP Auto Electrics Limited, located in central Scotland.
The Automotive Electrician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical faults, performing electrical maintenance, and conducting general maintenance and repairs on vehicles to ensure their safety and efficiency.
As part of your role there will be:
Installation of new vehicle electrics such as lighting and emergency lighting, camera and safety equipment crane and new body electrics.
Diagnostics (training will be provided if necessary)
General electrical fault finding on a variety of equipment from tankers, Airport equipment, hgv, drill rigs, plant
We fully understand that as we do such a variety there will be things you havent done and we try and play to people’s strengths while giving them the time to adapt and learn the other parts of the job.
Mobile Telematics Engineer Responsibilities:
- Installing and servicing of vehicle DVR camera systems and DVS Systems, telematics units and any other aftermarket equipment fitted to 12v and 24v vehicles
- Liaising with and handling customer queries on site ensuring all interaction with customers is conducted in a professional and helpful manner
- Ensure adherence to Health and Safety policies and procedures and requirements in line with best practice
- Accurate completion of job management system
- Maintaining van stock levels
- Fault finding /diagnostic skills
- Attention to detail
- Flexibility
Qualifications

- Proficiency in Electrical Maintenance and general
- Maintenance & Repair
- Strong skills in Fault Finding and diagnosing electrical issues in vehicles
- Expertise in Electrical Repairs and understanding of Electricity as applied to automotive systems
- Ability to work efficiently in an on-site team environment
Qualifications

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Relevant industry certifications would be advantageous
- reading of electrical diagrams
- previous jaltest/texa use would be an advantage
