Tom and Andy have jointly worked in the vehicle safety and security sector for almost 4 decades. Over that time they had been instrumental in developing connected solutions with real-time video monitoring solutions for some of the largest fleet operators.

As a Senior Service Engineer, you will:
-
Install, service, and repair commercial vehicle safety, security, telematics, and recording equipment on customer sites
- Lead and train new and current engineers and sub-contractors to ensure high technical and service standards
- Carry out quality checks on other engineers’ work to improve and maintain consistency and compliance
- Support the office team by providing detailed technical information and guidance
- Troubleshoot complex faults and ensure products are fully operational
- Maintain inventory to maximise first-time-fix rates
- Deliver demonstrations and customer training on installed systems
- Create and implement commercially focused initiatives – new processes, tools, or equipment – to speed up jobs, improve quality of installs, and improve profitability
- Work closely with the planning team to ensure a Right-First-Time solution by helping allocate the right engineers to the right workloads

We’re looking for a Senior Service Engineer with:
- Strong auto-electrical knowledge and experience working on commercial vehicles
- Previous field-based engineering experience, possessing strong leadership and mentoring responsibilities
- A logical, analytical approach to installation and technical fault-finding
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal – with a customer-first attitude
- A proactive mindset with the ambition to drive improvements, manage others, and help grow the business
- Strong computer literacy and a full UK driving licence
Senior Service Engineer Salary & Benefits:
The successful Senior Service Engineer will receive OTE of £55,000+, plus the following benefits…
